All of the staff members at Building Kidz School have the required experience/educational qualifications set by California Child Care Licensing division. Our directors and master teachers also have years of experience in child care and bachelor degrees in their related fields. They have all been finger printed, are trained in first aid and have their CPR certificates.
Weekly and daily learning plans are developed to stimulate a child's growing curiosity. We emphasize personalized attention to keep the child engaged and interested in classroom activities. Age appropriate environments creates confidence, self esteem, initiative and motivation. Building Kidz School provides a low teacher to student ratio i.e. 1:10 for preschoolers. 1:4 for infants. 1:8 for kindergarten. Our goal is to ensure that each and every day is filled with interesting things to see and do.

The owner and administrator of Building Kidz Preschool has a Bachelor's in Business and Early Childhood Education and a Master's in Marketing. Quality care is one of her top goals and working with each child based on his or her own need is her priority. She brings years of business and childcare experience to add to the other staff members' qualifications.

Misha Krepon, our Dance Teacher, received her BFA from UC Santa Cruz in Theatre and has taught children for over 12 years in a number of disciplines. Her training is in ballet, modern dance, gymnastics and tai chi. She has a particular affinity to children from 2-5 years, as they are generally open and willing to jump in and mimic what she teaches. She has also worked as an actor and director in Los Angeles.
Her focus with the children is to build coordination, develop gross motor skills, rhythm and introduce partner dancing. While dancing, the children will be exposed to a variety music, including classical, jazz, rock ‘n roll, country, musical theatre, Disney and electronic.
In classes the children will be encouraged to gently warm-up, stretch, march, gallop, turn, leap, hop, skip and partner dance. At Building Kidz School we like to believe we create happy feet!

Ana Galdamez is Director of Building Kidz in South San Francisco and has 8 years of experience working with children of all ages. She is currently in the process of getting her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and appreciates the opportunity to manage the relationships between families and children and the day-to-day operations at Building Kidz School.
Carol McMackin is Director of Performing Arts with Building Kidz and received her Bachelor’s in Theatre and Communications from the University of San Francisco. She has taught musical theater for the Young Conservatory at A.C.T., Kids ‘N Dance and ballet to children at Katherine Delmar Burke School. She has professionally performed as an actress in commercials, and on stage in countless musicals. As a recording artist, she has toured all over the United States and France for two years. She is thrilled to impart her knowledge of musical theatre, and sees it as a beautiful and healthy means of self-expression for everyone.
Jennifer Massis: has been Assistant Director at Building Kidz Preschool in San Mateo for five years and has a total of 8 years of experience in child care. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University and her California State Certificate in Early Childhood Education. She has found working with the children at Building Kidz very rewarding, as she watches them grow and develop each day. She is committed to providing the utmost care for them and is happy to develop relationships with their parents so that all families are kept informed of their child’s (ren’s) healthy development and nurturance at Building Kidz. School.
