Sabrina Bhandari

Owner and Franchisee

Having grown up around two entrepreneur parents, Sabrina has always dreamt of following in their footsteps and overseeing her own business. She pursued her education at the University of California, Davis, where she earned a B.S. degree in Psychology and developed a passion for early childhood education along the way.

Currently enrolled in early childhood education classes, Sabrina has two years of formal experience working at a preschool and an additional year at a children’s tutoring center. She has had the privilege of honing her skills in creating engaging and enriching learning environments that support comprehensive development, emphasizing both academic curriculum and the performing arts.

In her previous role, Sabrina’s leadership commended her for consistently exceeding expectations, and in her last quarter, she achieved a top-two performance within her team. Through collaboration with the amazing staff at GGLC, she is excited to apply the skills she’s gained and continue building an environment that nurtures the “whole child” with a hands-on approach. She is also excited to build on this by sharing the Building Kidz philosophy with the Berkeley community.

During her free time, Sabrina finds solace in practicing Yoga and Ayurveda. Certified in both disciplines, she has taught young learners with a goal to promote mindfulness, emotional regulation, mobility, and more.

“I’m Hanna and I have the privilege of serving the students and families at Golden Gate Learning Center as the site director. I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to the United States in my early twenties. I am very passionate about working with children and have done so for much of my life. Before joining GGLC, I worked as a Behavior Specialist at the Center for Social Dynamics supporting students with autism. I have also served as a Sunday school teacher at my church in Oakland since 2015. What I love most about working with children is being a part of so many of their firsts!
