Meet Our Team

My name is Iliyah Demafeliz, and I am excited to be the Program Director at Building Kidz of Citrus Heights. I began my journey as an Early Childhood Educator four years ago. I have had the pleasure of working with children of all ages. I received my teaching credentials from ARC and am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

I believe that each child is unique in their own way. I also believe that children learn best when they are allowed different choices so that their curiosity directs their learning. I have confidence that by creating a safe, welcoming, and positive environment that each child can thrive and build a love for school and learning. I am very excited to be joining the Building Kidz family and for the opportunity to meet all of the wonderful children and their families.
