School Director

Hello!

I grew up in the Philippines and came to the U.S. in 1992. I graduated from the Philippine Christian University and took a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. After passing the board exam I worked at the Young Womens Christian Association of the Philippines as a Youth Coordinator.  I worked in an orphanage as a Social Worker at Chosen Children, where we cared for children with special needs and found adoptive families for them.
Since I was young I knew I wanted to be a teacher. When I was in grade school, I would invite the young children in our neighborhood into our house so I could pretend to be their teacher. My first career as an educator was at Genentech 2nd Generation where I worked for 7 years.  I worked as a licensed family child care provider for eight year while caring for my youngest son.
I am very grateful to be a part of each of our student’s journey. I believe that preschool school should be an extension of their home that is fun, nurturing, and loving.  Partnering with families to continuously support their children’s learning and development is one of my main goals to achieve their success in school and at home.  Being a Director is a great opportunity to share my knowledge and skills to the teachers and staff I work with so that they too can also be a leader someday.
We thrive to provide a fun, engaging, and safe environment for all our students.
Having three boys is one of the greatest blessings I have. I love traveling , camping, and visiting my family and friends in the Philippines.
