Vibhuti Patel

Executive Director

My name is Vibhuti and I am the Franchisee of Building Kidz of Palo Alto. After having 2 daughters and experiencing the value of high-quality early childhood education personally, I have committed my energy to my passion for creating a world-class environment where children can excel. I have both qualifications and experience in early childhood education, and I also have a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas and an MBA from San Francisco State University. Prior to becoming a Building Kidz Franchisee, I spent 8 years working as a Business Analyst at various tech companies.

My husband and I chose to send our daughters to Building Kidz school and personally have experienced the value of the core principles of Building Kidz. The integration of performing arts with an age-appropriate curriculum, learning through life experiences, and a focus on academic excellence provide a solid foundation for every child.

Priya Sudharsan

Director

My name is Priya Sudharsan and I am the Director at Building Kidz of Palo Alto. I have over two decades of experience working with children and their families. My educational background is in early childhood education and finance. I have spent the majority of my career at Stratford and Bright horizon working as both teacher and director with a wide range of age groups starting from preschoolers and all the way to middle school-aged kids. 

Priya has a tremendous love for teaching children and places a high standard on learning. She possesses a calm attitude and a superb understanding of children’s needs. She strongly believes that “Children are an inspiration; each holds promise for our future. They supply us with endless rays of energy, enthusiasm, and hope to keep us going”

In order to give back to her community, Priya volunteers her free time coaching robotics as well as speech and debate to elementary and middle school students. 

Priya is a proud mom of two beautiful Kids, her son is at UC Berkeley Majoring in Computer Science and her daughter is at UC Riverside working towards her degree in Political Science.
