David and Laura Tucker

Owners

We are Franchisees and Owners of Building Kidz of Roseville – East. We have lived in the Roseville area since 2001 and are proud parents of two grown children and two grandchildren.

I have over 25 years of experience as a successful business leader in the home services industry and I hold a B.S. degree in Purchasing/Materials Management from Arizona State University. I oversee the day to day operations of the school and provide support to the staff.

Laura has worked over 20 years in the medical industry doing billing, accounting, and has supervisory experience. She has also worked in childcare while attending vocational school; she teaches and assists with marketing and operations.

Both of us are firm believers in performing arts, academics, and whole child development. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, hygienic, and age-appropriate environment for children to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills. We are thrilled with the opportunity we have with Building Kidz to ensure that every child reaches their full potential and we pride ourselves in building relationships with parents, children, and staff.

My name is JoAnn Mauro and I am the Site Director for Building Kidz of Roseville East.

I am very excited to be a part of the Building Kidz family. I have been working with children since 1990. I started out as a Teachers Aide in Kindergarten for two wonderful teachers. I would substitute for them and it was so much fun running their classes. I then became a Preschool Teacher for 4 and 5 year olds. I had a lot of fun seeing how much they grew and learned. When my son who is grown was in elementary school, I would help out in his classroom and that is when I decided I wanted to work with children.

I went to Sierra College in Rocklin to take Early Childhood classes. I also went to the University of Phoenix to take Administration classes.

I am so excited about the Building Kidz curriculum and performing arts program. It is a wonderful program. I am looking forward to meeting the families that will be coming to my preschool. I will be available to them whenever they need me and make their experience a wonderful one that they will never forget.
