Jennifer Massis

Executive Director

I am excited and proud to be part of the Building Kidz team. I have been in the child development field since 2007 and have been with Building Kidz since 2009. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University. I continued my education in child development to qualify as a school director.

As Executive Director, it is my primary objective address all needs of our children while make learning fun and exciting. I am committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children of the San Mateo community. Building Kidz believes in providing a warm and loving atmosphere. We know that children have different learning styles that a teacher needs to incorporate into the classroom. We ensure our children get hands on experiences and are engaged and stimulated. We make sure that their environment is stable, safe, and nurturing.

We have an open door policy and encourage parents to please visit the office or email me with any ideas or comments they feel would best benefit our children.

I look forward to working with all of the families here at Building Kidz.

My husband and I have two beautiful kids who both attend Building Kidz. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with family, traveling and cooking.

Samantha Nushwat

Site Director

I have been with Building Kidz since 2007.

I started as a Toddler teacher and worked my way up to becoming a Director. I have earned my Early Childhood Education credentials and have over eight years of teaching experience. I am fully devoted to this field and I believe my approach to education has benefitted many children and families.

I am always ready to provide a nurturing environment in which each child is developing at an appropriate level and each family is well taken care of.   I am committed to building a strong foundation for all of the young children under my care.

When I am not at work I love spending time with my two beautiful children.
