Owner
John and Maniwara Muscari
As residents of Dr Phillips, John and Maniwara are beyond excited to help develop, nurture and educate the young children of this remarkable community. As parents of two young children, they understand the importance of early childhood education, as well as the occasionally stressful process of finding the right school for their children. Their goal with Building Kidz of Dr Phillips is to provide the community with a school that truly develops childrens confidence, commitment and character. Before opening Building Kidz of Dr Phillips, John worked in the renewable energy industry in operations management roles and Maniwara was a financial manager for large, mixed use real estate projects. When not chasing after their two young children they enjoy staying active in the community by coaching youth soccer at the local YMCA and helping to organize extracurricular activities for their children.

Naya Afanador
Naya Afanador brings five years of experience in early childhood education and an unwavering commitment to supporting families and their children. She holds three Bachelors degrees in Accounting, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Nursing Assistance from Valencia College and Keiser University, and is also a Florida Notary Public. Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective on running a school that is both nurturing and well-organized. As a mother of two children with special needs, Naya personally understands how important it is for parents to find a school where their concerns are heard and their childrens unique needs are truly embraced. That lived experience drives everything she does, from the way she welcomes new families to the care she takes in building a team that shares her values. When shes not at the center, youll find her baking, traveling with her kids, and spending time with extended family.
