Hello, my name is Mercy Ishida, and I am the Executive Director and Franchise Owner of multiple Building Kidz School locations. My genuine and inborn love for children was evident to me at an early age and it was what led me to Building Kidz 19 years ago. Here is where I began my journey and career as an early childhood educator and where I had the opportunity to hold various positions that now serve as a strong foundation for my commitment to offering a positive early-year education experience for all children. I truly believe that combining an environment that focuses on developing a childs self-esteem, the incorporation of performing arts, and exposure to an enhanced academic curriculum provides a unique and exceptional early childhood experience that will significantly impact each childs long-life love for learning. I find so much joy and pride in watching each child achieve different milestones and grow in all areas of development. I strongly believe in the importance of creating partnerships with our families to ensure each childs individual needs are met and cared for. I hold an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Outside of my career, my husband and I have three beautiful children who are proud Building Kidz graduates. In my spare time, I enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, cooking, and making memories with my family.
