Center Director
Karen Anderson
Karen Anderson brings over 30 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education to her leadership role. Having taught children from birth through age 8 with a primary focus on PreK, Karens deep classroom roots inform her approach as an Assistant Director, Center Director, and teacher mentor. Karen leads with a teachers heart, prioritizing authentic support for educators and high-quality early learning environments. In 2022, Karen earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development and Leadership, graduating suma cum laude with a 4.0 GPA. Karen believes that children learn through play and that play is fundamental to early childhood development, serving as the primary way young children, communicate, and make senses of their world. Rather than just being a leisure activity, play builds essential cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
