Leah Henry

Hi! My name is Leah. I am so happy to be joining the family of Building Kidz of Leander! I was born and raised in Liberty Hill, Texas, and I am one of five siblings. I am a very proud mother of two wonderful children, a son and a daughter, and two amazing granddaughters who bring so much joy to my life. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I treasure the time I get to spend with them and my friends. I love adventures, whether its camping, hiking, or anything that has to do with water. I am also a huge college football fan -especially the Texas Longhorns! I believe life is full of learning opportunities, and I try to embrace each day with curiosity, joy, and gratitude. I am thrilled to be part of a school where children, families, and teachers come together to learn, grow, and support one another. Being here allows me to share my love of learning, connect with amazing people, and make a positive difference every single day. I have 25 years of experience in early childhood education. I earned my diploma from Liberty Hill High School and hold my Child Development Credential. Over the years, I have dedicated my life to creating environments where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. As the Director of Quality Education at Building Kidz of Leander, my passion is to guide and support teachers, help every child reach their fullest potential, and foster a community where learning is exciting and meaningful. I truly believe that early childhood is a time of wonder, curiosity, and discovery, and I am committed to making every day at our school a positive, joyful, and nurturing experience. I love interacting with the teachers and children, celebrating their successes, and learning alongside them. Being part of this school and this environment fills me with happiness and gratitude every single day. Watching children grow, teachers flourish, and families thrive reminds me why I chose this profession, and it inspires me to continue making a difference in the lives of our students and our community.
