With over a decade of experience in management and early childhood education, she has had the privilege of helping young children discover their strengths, creativity, and love for learning. She believes in the importance of the foundational years in a childs development and is deeply committed to nurturing this critical stage. As the owner of Building Kidz of Sunnyvale, she is excited to bring her passion for early education to the community. Her vision is to create a preschool that feels like an extension of home – a warm, joyful, and engaging space where every child feels loved, supported, and encouraged to explore. Outside of school, she cherishes time with her family – hiking local trails, building block towers with her two children and exploring new places together.

Nicole Castillejos

Nicole has been working with young children since 2019 and is passionate about supporting their early learning journey. Originally from the Philippines, she has a Bachelor in elementary education majoring in early childhood education (ECE) background, having completed ECE and administrative units that strengthen both her classroom practice and program support skills. She enjoys incorporating her love for art and creativity into the learning environment, helping children explore, express themselves, and build confidence through hands-on experiences. Nicole is dedicated to creating a fun, caring, and safe space where children feel valued, supported, and excited to learn each day.

Divyani Singh

Divyani is passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to supporting young children during this important stage of growth and development. She brings 5 years of experience in the field and has completed 29 units in Child Development, along with current CPR/First Aid certification. As a mother and part of a family of educators, Divyani understands the importance of patience, warmth, and consistency in early learning. She is committed to creating nurturing routines that help children feel emotionally secure while providing hands-on, play-based experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, and growth. She also brings a strong educational background in Engineering, which adds a thoughtful and structured approach to her teaching style.

Queena Look

Queena brings a strong passion for working with young children and enjoys supporting their early learning through care and encouragement. With experience tutoring young children, she is dedicated to helping them build confidence in a supportive and nurturing environment. As a Mandarin speaker, Queena introduces the language through songs, stories, and play-based activities, making learning engaging, fun, and accessible. She focuses on creating a warm and welcoming classroom where children feel safe to explore and try new things. She is currently pursuing her studies in nursing, which further strengthens her natural sense of attentiveness, care, and compassion in the classroom.

Madhu Velde

Hi, I’m Madhu! I have five years of experience working in preschool and a background in Early Childhood Education. I’m passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow.

As a proud mom of two boys, I understand the importance of patience, care, and encouragement during the early years.

I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, which has strengthened my focus on children’s health, safety, and well-being.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking, traveling, creating artwork, and spending time with my family. I’m excited to be part of your child’s learning journey and look forward to creating many wonderful memories together!
