Owner
Sylvia Xuereb
My name is Sylvia Xuereb and I am the Owner of Building Kidz of Menlo Park. I have been with Building Kidz since 2014 and have enjoyed every minute of it! I have worked with children from 2-12 years of age as a Teacher, Head Teacher, Assistant Director and Site Director. I have worked with children since 2001 and cant imagine doing anything else. I have a Bachelors Degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Psychology, an AA Degree in Business Administration, and an AS Degree in Early Childhood Education. I learn something new from children every day. My Golden Rule philosophy with children is that I treat and care for all children as if they were my own. I know that children are going to shape and lead our future and recognize the responsibility that teachers have in creating a positive environment so that they can have a bright future when they graduate from Building Kidz!

Darcy Howard
My name is Darcy Howard and it is my honor to be able to have a part in shaping the future by having a positive impact on the children that I teach and care for. Here at Building Kidz of Menlo Park, I am the Program Director as well as a Pre-K class teacher. I am so happy to be a part of a wonderful team of teachers who dedicate themselves everyday to helping our children excel. I have a BA in Child Development from San Jose State University and have been in this field of work since 1993. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, travel, going to the movies, cooking, and much more. I look forward to getting to know all of you and to grow as a community together!
