Hello!
My name is Ebun Evien and I am proud to be the Site Director for Building Kidz of Mountain View. I was a teacher at Building Kidz from 2015 to 2021. Our proprietary PA curriculum fully integrates music, dance, and theater into our age appropriate development standards through classes and Broadway style productions.
In this class we brighten up the world by helping our youngest children discover their senses, explore their surroundings, nurture their development and celebrate their milestones. From one-on-one interactions that help build nurturing relationships in everyday moments to age-appropriate books to support speech and language development, our classrooms provide the ideal setting for the youngest children. We are also encouraging children to work on finger painting, music, and pretend play to spark creativity while also exposing them to structures to help with perceptual motor development. When children leave this classroom they will have a Brighter Beginning to the world around them.
Learn MoreOur classroom provides an ideal environment to foster individual development and self-help skills. We use a scaffolded approach to learning through systematically building on students’ experiences and knowledge as they are acquiring new skills in order to enhance learning and aid in the mastery of tasks. Their curious minds are exposed to an enriched curriculum focusing on language development by using pictures, books and basic academics in their environment. Following simple instructions is implemented through circle time, story time, art, and curriculum projects. Besides the social, emotional development, we also focus on developing fine motor skills through fun and sensory activities. Our Little Explorers are ready to put to practice their newfound independence by exploring their surroundings as they come with a Brighter understanding of their world around them.
Learn MoreOur preschool curriculum introduces language, math, science and social skills in a way to encourage learning at the child's own pace.
Learn MoreOur kindergarten curriculum focuses on developing foundational skills that prepare students for later learning in the areas of math, science, social studies and language arts.
Learn MoreOur 22 month old daughter started her day care here and like every first time parent, we were anxious about her transition but all thanks to Miss Iris and Miss Ebun, for making it so smooth and easy for our daughter. Special thanks to Miss Sundari for being so accommodative and caring. They put us at ease by taking really good care of our kid. We really liked the brightwheel app they use to keep us posted about our daughter's day to day activities in school. Miss Sundari, Miss Raji and other management staff know most of the kids by their name and even their parents. This really shows how much interest and care they take towards every child. We feel she is in a safe place.
Thanks to all the teachers and staff of building kidz !
Our son loves it here and routinely asks to go to day care during the weekends :). The teachers are great, the many activities are fun and educational (he learns so much here) and we appreciate that he has the chance to learn to play with so many kids. We’re very happy to have him enrolled here.
I have reviewed Building Kidz previously, but since COVID-19, my son stopped going, for obvious reasons. BK recently opened up to all students, per the SC County guidelines. Today was my son's first day back. It was seamless. BK really stepped up their check-in process to adhere to the CDC guidelines and safety precautions. The health screening in the morning (temperature check and logging) was perfect, lines to tell indicate 6ft, and staff at the ready. Hand washing stations at conveniently located near the classrooms (these are permanent washing stations, not temporary, so it looks great and sanitary). Everyone in face masks, contact less check-ins through the app. It was great.
Ms. Euben was very helpful today, as we transitioned back, we needed extra help and attention. The teachers all showed they missed and cared for my son. It was great and heartwarming. It is the level of comfort that I needed as a parent bringing back my child to an unknown environment. They took care of all the necessities for a proper and safe return to school. I am very fortunate to have found Building Kidz. Their response to the pandemic is great, so much so that it provided an avenue of normalcy for the families. The sooner that we all can get to the "new normal" whatever that may entail, the quicker the transition will be to some sort of normalcy.
Thank you to all the staff, each of you, you all have really made the transition in uncertain territory great. I also want to commend Ms. Raji, the Director, for her great communication via email. It is professional and really goes above and beyond.
We love Building Kidz MV!!
I've been meaning to write a review here a while ago. My daughter has started here 1.5 years ago, since she was 6 months old. From the moment we brought her to the infant room, we felt the love and caring from all the teachers. Each and every teacher there were so great and my daughter was in love with them. In the toddler class, she is really happy. Ms Iris and Ms Ebun are simply the best, and they are doing everything they can to make the kids happy and engaged.
I want to say a big thank you to Ms. Sundary and Ms. Raji in particular - for being always available for parents, and support then during this time.
We really appreciate everything that Building Kidz has done for us, and for helping us shaping our daughter little personality in such a good way! Thank you!
We recently started our 1yo at Building Kidz, and couldn't have asked for a better place to send our kid. Mrs Sundari, the director, is so caring towards our child and accommodating to our preferences, and she really put us at ease as first time parents sending our kid to a day care for the first time.
Similarly, the Infants' room teachers are all very caring towards our child and accommodating of our preferences. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Building Kidz!

Our curriculum is a comprehensive arts-integrated learning program in which children develop skills and knowledge of numeracy, literacy, music, arts, socialization, self-regulation and control, self-efficacy, morality, fine and gross motor skills, and emotional expression. Additionally, our children perform two shows annually: a Broadway-style production in June and a winter recital in December.
