Owner
Isabel Heredia
Hello, my name is Isabel Heredia. I am so happy and proud to be part of Building Kidz, an organization that provides young children with the tools they need for a solid foundation. I am passionate about working with children and watching them grow in a fun environment that will prepare them for the world ahead. Coming from a family of teachers, my passion for working with children came early on in life. I graduated with a BA in Psychology from Norte Dame de Namur University and hold a certificate in Montessori Early Childhood Education. I have worked in school settings since 2007, teaching and supporting infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I have also had the pleasure of teaching children and supervising teachers in play based, academic, and Montessori settings. My husband and I have a 6 year old son and another on the way! We are determined more than ever to provide excellence in care and education for children in their most formative years. I look forward to building a partnership with the families of Building Kidz and providing the most enjoyable experience that will develop each childs confidence, commitment and character.
Director
Rebecca Garcia
Hello, my name is Rebecca Garcia. I was born in Portland, Oregon but raised in the Philippines. After University in 2017, I moved back to the US to pursue my dream in Early Childhood Education! I love to write, to read and to listen to music. I love traveling, being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends but most especially I love working with children! I graduated with a BA in Psychology and have been teaching since 2018 and managing and supporting our teaching team since 2020 . I have worked with both infants and toddlers in a play-based setting, and I have been a lead teacher of all the age groups here in Building Kidz! My passion for working in a school setting is driven by my goal to help children reach their full potential as well as lead and support a team of educators in providing the best environment for our little ones. I believe that children can and will thrive if given the right tools and are guided and surrounded by a loving community. I am very honored to be part of Building Kidz and to be your partners in your childs development!

I was born in Texas but raised in San Francisco. I am a mother of two beautiful, wonderful children. I have always loved to teach, and I found this passion through taking care of my family and my younger siblings. I am Mexican American, and I am immensely proud of my roots and I embrace my culture in which I incorporate this in how I teach. I have been a preschool teacher for over 3 years now. I have been an assistant teacher and Spanish teacher in two other preschools, La Lengua and Creative Montessoi. In my free time I like to go on walks, watch soccer games, watch the Warriors, the 49ers and the Giants play. I love to do projects, watch movies, travel, try new food and be with my family and friends.
I am overly excited to be a teacher here at Building Kidz and be a part of this amazing school that I look forward to helping your child reach his or her full potential!
