Parent Testimonials

We feel SO lucky that we have found a home at Building Kidz! First of all this place is female owned and run, so like immediate 2 thumbs up from me and honestly from the moment I met Stephanie and Annie and saw their beautiful space I knew I wanted in. They are so warm and loving and provide a safe and fun environment for the kids.

One of my favorite features (besides the awesome gals that run this place) is that you get cute updates throughout the day and get to feel like your part of the day too! Additionally, Stephanie, Annie and Laura really know their stuff when it comes to child development so the days are filled with amazing activities to help enrich their curious minds and growing bodies. Not to mention my son has tried foods here that he would never give a second glance to at home, a win in my book!

They have welcomed us with open arms since day one and we truly feel like we are becoming a family now. I love it here so much that I am already sad about when we have to leave for Kindergarten...in 3 years.

Awesome staff, super clean and new! Great learning environment for children to thrive.

Our son joined Building Kidz's Parents Night Out lately and had a great time making artworks and playing with other kids. He enjoyed movie watching and the healthy snacks as well. Building Kidz's welcoming environment and friendly staff helped my son settle down quickly. I was not sure at first if he would be fine being dropped off at a new place with people he never met but Annie and Stephanie sure know how to work with young kids. When I told him I will be back when he is ready, he was completely fine and did not even look back.

Thank you Annie and Stephanie for a great experience.

My husband and I were looking for a school for our four year old and had a hard time finding one that was safe and was more like home away from home with an academic focus. We looked into several schools in our location (SSF) but no luck. Thanks to a close family friend, we found it. Building Kidz of Sunset. I am so grateful to both Stephanie and Annie for having opened this school. They are beyond kind and nurturing just what a child needs when leaving their home to start one of the biggest adventures of their lives. I love the academic focus that utilizes various forms of education from basic reading and writing to art and music to provide a well rounded start to school life. A million thanks to you and your families for making this happen for our little one."

About Building Kidz of San Francisco at Sunset

Our philosophy is to develop the ‘whole child’. We focus on 6 key areas of development: emotional, social, cognitive, physical, communication, and academic. We create an environment where children are challenged intellectually and are engaged in an interest of lifelong learning through an intelligent integration of academics and performing arts. It is this philosophy and our preschool programs that has made us one of the top preschools and childcare services in America.

Our mission is to deliver a world class preschool experience resulting in children that love learning, connect with the performing arts, and demonstrate accelerated development of their character, confidence, and commitment.

Our curriculum is a comprehensive arts-integrated learning program in which children develop skills and knowledge of numeracy, literacy, music, arts, socialization, self-regulation and control, self-efficacy, morality, fine and gross motor skills, and emotional expression.

Additionally, our children perform two shows annually: a Broadway style production in June and a winter recital in December.

Building Kidz Worldwide dedicates 25% of its profits to helping underprivileged children globally! You are not only making a great decision by choosing to partner with us in the development of your child, you are also helping children you may never meet at no additional cost to you.
