Alma Christiansen

Hello, my name is Alma Christiansen, and I am a dedicated Early Childhood educator with a passion for nurturing young minds and creating a joyful learning environment. With experience as both a teacher and a director, I have focused on fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child. I believe that Early Education lays the foundation for lifelong learning, and I am committed to supporting childrens growth through play, exploration, and meaningful connection with families. I have over 20 years of experience nurturing young minds throughout my career. I have served as a teacher, LEGO robotics instructor, director, and home daycare owner, creating safe, engaging, and loving learning environments for children to grow and thrive in. In addition to working in Early Child education, I have also taught at the elementary level as a LEGO robotic instructor, inspiring students to explore creativity, problem-solving, and Innovation through Hands-On learning. Im proud that my dedication to learning has inspired my own children; one is pursuing a masters degree at the University of San Francisco, and the other is earning a bachelors degree at San Jose State University. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, dancing, and I love celebrating Thanksgiving and the beauty of both fall and spring. My favorite colors are purple and red, and my favorite foods are Sushi and Seafood.
