My name is Melissa Greenway and I am so happy to join the Building Kidz family as
your new Center Director.

I am a California native who grew up in the wonderful city of Vista! Some of my past preschool positions took me out of state however, there is something about CA that calls you back. =)

I come to Building Kidz having earned my degree in Human and Social Services Administration along with Early Childhood Education. I have worked as a Preschool Teacher, Assistant Director, and Center Director for over 35 years. My experience also includes working with and supporting at-risk children, parent education, and parent
coaching.

I believe in a strong partnership between the parent and the center team. After all, you have a unique lens into your child’s strengths, areas of growth, and learning style. I look forward to collaborating with you and the amazing team of teachers to ensure your child receives the guidance and support they need to excel!

Hi!

My name is Tex and I am originally from New Zealand. I have lived in SoCal since 2007 and have been married since 1996. I live in Fallbrook with our eight children. My wife and I have a passion for nurturing children and take great joy in watching them grow and develop their personalities. We’re involved in the county’s foster and adoption system. Our love for children and desire to make a difference drives us to be the best and we are excited to be a part of the Building Kidz Family!

Ms. Kelsey

Hi, I am Kelsey, the chef here at Building Kidz of Vista. I obtained my first job at 15 in a little burger joint in Carlsbad. I have spent most of my time in the service industry serving and catering for the past 20 years with 4 years as a bakery manager for Sprouts. This has provided me with the experience and knowledge that made me eligible for the position at Building Kidz of Vista. Hands down, it’s the best place I’ve ever worked! I love getting the children involved in the cooking or preparation and introducing them to new foods. I enjoy seeing the joy in their faces as they assist, and it is so rewarding to teach them new things and observe how they connect the pieces. I am excited to meet you and your children!
