Director
Cynthia Alvarez
Hello Everyone! My name is Cynthia Alvarez and I am the Director at local Palo Alto Building Kidz Preschool. I started working in Early Childhood Education (ECE) in 1995 after earning an AA Degree in ECE. Prior to joining Building Kidz, I held positions of Preschool Director or similar at several other Bay Area child learning facilities. I am passionate about working with children and I enjoy playing a role in molding children during their early childhood years to have the confidence and drive to succeed while building their individuality and character. My greatest joy has been seeing my students succeed and become successful as adults, and I am looking forward to experiencing the same with families in the Palo Alto community. In my spare time I enjoy mystery novels, spending time with my cats, and going to the beach with my husband. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you soon and welcome you to the Building Kidz of Palo Alto South family!
