Chef, Assistant Director
Miss Sarah
Miss Sarah joins us with over 6 years of hands-on experience in the food service industry, including roles at Burger King, Taco Bell, and Stewarts Shops. She has developed a strong foundation in food safety, kitchen operations, and fast-paced service environments. She hopes to pursue a degree in Culinary Education. Im passionate about combining real-world experience with formal training to create exceptional food and inspire others in the kitchen.

Miss Rachel
Miss Rachel has seven years of experience working with children aged infant – twelve years. She has also been a Special Education Assistant. Her talents include her ability to foster a comforting, homey environment. In her free time she enjoys reading, drawing, and movie marathons.

Miss Jammie
Miss Jammie has been a dedicated member of Building Kidz of Queensbury since its doors opened two years ago. With over a decade of experience working with children, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a nurturing spirit to her classroom. Currently working towards completing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Miss Jammie is committed to providing the highest quality care and education to her students. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her beloved cat, LillyRose, and indulging in her passion for diamond paintings. Miss Jammies warm and engaging personality makes her an invaluable asset to the Building Kidz family.

Miss Ashley
Miss Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Cortland in Inclusive Early Childhood Education with a concentration in English. She is currently continuing her education, pursuing a Masters in Special Education for all grades. She has worked at the school child care center at SUNY Cortland. Outside of childcare, she loves to hang out with her friends and family, go to concerts, and go for walks and hikes.

Miss Samantha
Miss Samantha, also known as Miss Sam, has been working in childcare for just over two years and has dreamed of becoming a teacher since she was a child. Her passion for early education shines through in her warm, engaging approach to working with young children. She is dedicated to creating a nurturing and inspiring environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Miss Rosie
Miss Rosie has been working in childcare for nearly four years and has been caring for kids since she was a teenager. She especially loves the toddler age and enjoys helping little ones grow into confident preschoolers by practicing names, numbers, letters, and colors in fun and engaging ways. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family – especially her sweet and spunky 1-year-old daughter, Riley!

Miss Lee
Miss Lee is a self-described part-time clown; full-time Teacher. She has been teaching Preschool for the past three years, and has loved every minute of it! She holds an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Humanities with a focus in Psychology, and began her journey in early childhood education by volunteering at Head Start during her later high school years. Miss Lee brings her background in music, art, and theater into her teaching, using her talents to create enriching, imaginative, and engaging learning experiences. She is often found playing her ukulele, painting faces, singing, and dramatically telling stories. Miss Lee is always finding new ways to make learning magical and memorable for her students.

Miss Willow
Miss Willow has always had a heart for working with children. She began babysitting and volunteering in her churchs infant and toddler rooms at just nine years old, and its been clear ever since that teaching was her calling. Inspired by her own preschool teachers – who left a lasting impression – Miss Willow knew from a young age that she wanted to make the same kind of impact. She graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at WSWHE BOCES in 2019 and is currently working towards her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a focus on preschool-aged children. Miss Willow developed strong leadership and communication skills while working in restaurant management, where she gained valuable experience in teamwork, problem-solving, and supporting others – skills she now brings into her classroom every day. Her favorite part of teaching is, in her words: getting to teach them, love them, and watch them grow. Miss Willow brings warmth, dedication, and a deep love for early childhood education into everything she does.

Miss Kris
Miss Kris earned her BA in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and planned to use her degree as a public-school teacher. However, shortly after graduation during a temporary summer job as a preschool teacher, Kris fell in love with the world of childcare and its younger students. Kriss 30-year career includes purchasing a large childcare center, serving as the director and later starting her own childcare family group home. Additionally, Kris has worked as an Early Intervention Specialist as well as an Education Coordinator for Head Start. Kriss childcare philosophy is simple, At the end of the day, every child must go home happy, healthy, and safe. Whatever we, as professionals, need to do during the day to ensure that must come from the heart. Kris is a proud mom to her grown son who lives in Texas.

Miss Emily
Miss Emily brings a wealth of experience and a nurturing spirit to her role as an Assistant Preschool Teacher. She has dedicated nearly two decades to early childhood education. Her journey began by babysitting her younger cousins, which inspired her to complete a BOCES program in Early Childhood Education and pursue a career helping young children learn and grow. Emily is currently working toward completing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Miss Emily is also a devoted pet owner to four beloved cats named Ellie, Mimi, Pigpen, and Sierra. Outside of work, Miss Emily enjoys cooking, baking, and watching movies, and she treasures time spent with her family.
Dance and Movement Teacher
Miss Hasna
Miss Hasna is a passionate dance educator with over 20 years of teaching experience in the U.S. and abroad. She earned her Ballet Diploma in 1986 and has taught classical Ballet, Creative Movement, and Dance Fitness to students of all ages. Dedicated to inspiring confidence and joy through movement, she creates a positive and supportive environment where every dancer can grow with grace, discipline, and self-expression.
